When can I purchase Cubs Charities 50/50 Raffle tickets online, and when does the raffle open?
Raffle tickets are available for purchase online at 11:00am and in ballpark approximately two hours prior to the start of each Cubs’ home game and will close at the end of the 7th inning.
Is there a limit to how many online 50/50 Raffle tickets I can purchase?
There is no limit on the number of tickets you can purchases.
How much are 50/50 Raffle tickets?

Why are online 50/50 Raffle tickets only available for sale in Chicago?
In accordance with state and local law, Cubs Charities is licensed to sell raffle tickets only within the City of Chicago.
How do I find the live jackpot amount?
The live jackpot can be found at www.Cubs.com/raffle
How do I find the winning ticket number and final jackpot amount?
All winning ticket numbers and the full jackpot amounts are available at www.Cubs.com/raffle within 48 hours of the conclusion of the game.
How long do I have to claim my winnings?
You have ten (10) days from the conclusion of the game to claim your prize. To claim the prize we require the winning ticket, completed claim documentation and a copy of the government issued ID that matches the claim documentation. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for further instruction.
How will I receive my winnings?
To receive your winnings you must claim the prize within ten (10) days. Once all claim forms have been submitted, a check will be processed and mailed to the address provided within sixty (60) days.
Do I need to be present to win or claim the prize?
No, however you have ten (10) days from the conclusion of the game to claim your prize.
What happens if I lose my confirmation email with my ticket numbers?
In order to claim a prize the winning ticket MUST accompany the claim documentation. Lost or stolen tickets cannot be replaced. If you cannot find your confirmation email with your ticket numbers please check your spam or junk folders for the email you provided. If you cannot find it, please contact us at email@example.com and provide your name, phone number and the last four digits of the credit card used to purchase the 50/50 Raffle tickets and the number of tickets purchased. We recommend downloading your 50/50 Raffle tickets or taking a screenshot on your mobile phone as a means of backup.
I can’t purchase a ticket from my current location, what can I do?
Be sure to check the “Location Services” on your electronic device is enabled and ensure the automatic settings for the “date and time” is turned on. The 50/50 Raffle is open to all individuals eighteen (18) years of age or older who are located within the geo-fence of the City of Chicago at the time of purchase.
I checked the box to save my information for future purchases and it didn’t’ save. What can I do?
The information will only save if you are using the same browser as your previous raffle ticket purchase(s) and if you have not cleared your cache or cookie settings.
What happens if I did not receive my confirmation email with the 50/50 Raffle ticket numbers?
Please check your spam or junk folders for the email you provided. If you cannot find it, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide your name, phone number and the last four digits of the credit card used to purchase the 50/50 Raffle tickets and the number of tickets purchased. Where does the raffle jackpot money go?
The full jackpot amount can be found online at www.Cubs.com/raffle. Half of the net proceeds from each raffle goes to one lucky winner while the other half benefits Cubs Charities. For more information, please visit www.cubscharities.org
What is the significance of my raffle ticket number?
Raffle ticket numbers may vary based on where and how you purchased your tickets. All ticket numbers for any given raffle have equal chance of being selected and the winning number is chosen at random.
Why does www.Cubs.com/raffle require my location?
Your current location is required to confirm eligibility. Online 50/50 Raffle tickets are only available for fans who are located within the City of Chicago geo-fence at the time of purchase.
What if I already selected “Don’t Allow?”
By selecting “Don’t Allow” you will not be able to purchase tickets. Ticket sales are restricted to a specific geographic area. By not allowing the system to verify your location you will not be permitted to purchase tickets.
What if I receive the following prompt: “You must allow your browser to share your locations to purchase tickets. Please click “OK” to reload this page, then be sure to allow your browser to share your location to share your location when prompted”?
The browser should reload the page and ask you to share the location upon loading. NOTE: In some browsers, the pop-up window may say “close” rather than “OK.”
- Try reloading the page by re-entering the website address again. You should be prompted to a new screen to add in your current location. If you have specified you never want to share your location, you will need to select “share my location” in your device settings. Please see below for instructions.
What if I cannot purchase raffle tickets online due to location?
If you are located within City of Chicago limits but cannot purchase raffle tickets online due to your location, you may have selected “never share my location” in your browser. Please see below for instructions to allow sharing your location, so you are able to purchase online 50/50 Raffle tickets.
For iOS devices:
- Go to the Settings App
- Select Privacy
- Select Location Services
- Ensure Location Services are on
- Scroll down and select “Safari Websites”
- Ensure Allow Location Access is set to “While using the App”
- Chrome has the same setting if using instead of Safari
For Android devices (may vary depending on version):
- Go to the Settings App
- Select Location and ensure that it is turned on
- Return to previous screen and select Apps
- Go to Chrome
- Select Permissions
- Ensure that Location is enabled
